Familiar workout names
“Upper body”, “Legs”, “Back and shoulders” make it easy to find the right session. If your schedule sometimes shifts, names based on the workout can be more useful than “Monday” and “Wednesday”.
Group these workouts into one program and enter planned sets, reps and working weights. You don’t need to enter everything in one evening: save empty workout plans and fill them in later. Before a session, preview the plan to check it before starting.
If you don’t have a program yet, you can preview the starter programs. The selected program becomes your copy: adjust its exercises and values to suit you.
Details that help in the gym
Arrange exercises in the order you usually perform them. Warmup can be part of the workout, for example first in the list. Change the order without entering exercises again.
Each exercise has a description. Record the machine seat height, handle position or a trainer’s cue there. These details help you compare results across later sessions.
The exercise type determines how sets are recorded: reps and kilograms for weighted exercises, reps for bodyweight exercises, and seconds for timed exercises. During the session, adjust planned values to match what you achieved. Read more in our workout diary guide.
A cycle at your own pace
Suppose your program has three main workouts. Sometimes you finish them in a week; sometimes it takes longer. In the app they make up a cycle, so you can follow your program without tying it to a calendar week.
When you return to the first main workout, the app offers to start a new cycle. If you are simply repeating that workout, you can keep the session in the current cycle.
Add a short extra workout, such as push-ups at home, to your program with “Counts toward the cycle” switched off. Its result appears in Statistics, but it is not required to complete the cycle.
When your program changes
After completed sessions, performed weights and reps are transferred to the plan. You don’t need to enter small changes again each time.
When you switch to another program, you can archive the old one. It leaves the workout selection list, while its history stays in Statistics. You can also return to the program by restoring it from the archive.
